Overview
We are currently looking to recruit a time served pipe fitter for a very long-term role (permanent for right person) in and around the Widnes area. Experience on petrochemical sites, pharmaceutical sites, or oil and gas sites is essential. This is not a commercial works.
Responsibilities
* Measure (point to point) to enable fabrication and understand pipework isometric drawings to fabricate/install new pipework.
* liaise with the client and client operations to enable permit signing and requests; may be on site alone during certain periods.
* Work as part of a team during other periods, including small teams.
Requirements
* Time served pipe fitter with relevant experience.
* Experience on petrochemical/pharmaceutical/oil and gas sites is essential.
* Ability to measure accurately (point to point) and understand pipework isometric drawings.
* Ability to liaise with client operations for permits; capable of working on site alone or in small teams.
* Full clean driving licence.
* This work is outside of IR35, so payroll limited.
