Team Leader's job summary:
To professionally lead the care team during any span of duty, ensuring that a safe, effective and efficient care service is maintained which meets the needs of service users and purchasers. Lead by example and report to management about how your position would enable to improve the service.
To provide care to elderly and disabled in accordance with their assessed needs to an industry leading standard.
OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide leadership and support for a team of 48 staff and act as their primary point of contact; all staff must be reporting to you before seeking supervisors' assistance.
To maintain skills and knowledge and ensure that care is delivered according to latest guidelines and best practice evidence available.
Ensure the ongoing safety of service users and staff through systematic assessment, monitoring and reviewing processes.
Ensure that clear and accurate records and communication systems relating to clinical and care delivery are maintained and effectively used.
Act as a role model for good clinical and care governance practice
Job Location: Slough
Shifts: commitment to at least 4 days (half shifts or full shifts)
Working hours: 7:00 – 22:00, including rotating weekends
You must have at least 3 years care experience or equivalent. You will be expected to undertake relevant training as required and progress towards QCF level 3 in Health and Social Care.
This job is subject to 2 satisfactory references and enhanced DBS.
