Avon View, located just outside Christchurch, is a residential home providing nursing, palliative, residential, and dementia care across three floors. We support people with complex needs through a compassionate, person‑centred approach, and we’re looking for someone who shares our commitment to exceptional care. What you’ll do Ensuring that the needs of clients are assessed and care plans are developed, implemented and monitored. Supporting the Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of the service. The safe administration and ordering of medication. Supervision and management of staff. Working to required standards to comply with CQC guidelines. What you need Experience working within a residential service. Knowledge of relevant Community Care legislation. An understanding of Risk Assessment and Health & Safety. Good verbal and written communication skills. NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. 36 hours per week Who we are: We provide high quality care and support to older people; people with physical and learning disabilities; people with mental health needs; dementia; carers and clients’ families. This extends to respite care for families and carers. We operate services across Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, ranging from Residential Homes, Day Services, Supported Living sites and Reablement Home Care.
