Assistant Subject Leader – Physics TLR
£3527 p.a. plus a £5,000 recruitment incentive (R & R) payable after a qualifying period of two full terms in this role, which includes a 2‑year retention period.
Required start: September 2026 / January 2027.
Responsibilities
* Teach Science to students across Key Stages 3-5.
* Develop and deliver A Level Physics lessons.
* Shape the future of the physics curriculum for the new school building opening in 2028.
* Collaborate with other science teachers and contribute to professional learning programmes.
* Engage with regulated activity relevant to children, complying with safeguarding and child protection policies.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Qualified teacher with the right to teach Science across Key Stages 3-5; experience in A Level Physics is desirable.
* Ability to deliver high‑quality lessons and to take on leadership within the physics subject area.
* Compliance with safeguarding and child protection duties, including being suitable for regulated activity.
