This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our pupils as they prepare for their transition to secondary school. Key Responsibilities: Support the Year 6 class teachers in delivering high-quality learning experiences. Work with small groups and individual pupils to boost attainment, particularly in English and Maths. Assist with the preparation and delivery of interventions, including SATs preparation. Promote positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing. Contribute to the wider life of the school, including trips, events, and enrichment activities. Maintain accurate records and contribute to pupil progress reviews. We’re Looking for Someone Who: Has experience working in KS2, ideally with Year 6 pupils. Has strong subject knowledge and is confident with the Year 6 curriculum Committed to creating an inclusive environment that supports the diverse needs of all learners. Is proactive, flexible, and a strong team player. Has excellent communication and organisational skills. Is passionate about helping children achieve their full potential. Qualifications and Experience: A relevant qualification (such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor qualification) is desirable. A good general standard of education including GCSE English and Maths to Grade C or equivalent. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential.
