They are seeking a Head of Engineering to lead the development and scaling of high-performance trading systems in a regulated environment. Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and scale the engineering team across software, infrastructure, DevOps, and cybersecurity.
* Design and implement high-performance, low-latency trading systems with tight timing and reliability requirements.
* Oversee the development of client connectivity layers and ensure system performance meets demanding standards.
* Implement robust risk controls and operational safeguards while maintaining system efficiency.
* Collaborate with the CTO to define technical strategy, roadmap, and execution priorities.
* Ensure systems are designed with security, reliability, and regulatory compliance in mind.
* Represent the engineering function in discussions with executive leadership, partners, and regulators.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* 10+ years of engineering leadership experience, including senior management roles in trading, exchanges, or high-performance systems.
* Strong technical expertise in trading system architectures, low-latency infrastructure, and performance optimization.
* Proven experience architecting and scaling systems capable of handling high volumes with ultra-low latency.
* Experience in regulated markets or compliance-driven engineering preferred.
* Hands-on, strategic, and technical leadership style — able to manage teams while contributing to technical design.
* Excellent communication skills to engage with executive leadership and regulatory stakeholders.
