About the Role
Are you someone with strong commercial knowledge, excellent client‑facing and customer management skills, and proven financial acumen? We are looking for a Project Surveyor who can confidently manage commercial risk, support high‑value sustainable projects, and build strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
As a Project Surveyor, you will:
* Manage cost and contractual elements of decarbonisation projects, ensuring financial and environmental targets are achieved
* Carry out detailed cost analysis, forecasting and budget management
* Work closely with engineers, architects, clients and contractors to support effective project delivery
* Monitor budgets, manage risks and produce regular performance and financial reports
* Identify cost‑saving opportunities that support decarbonisation objectives
* Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring project expectations are met and exceeded
Qualifications & Skills
Essential
* Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field
* Strong cost management and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
* Strong commercial and financial awareness
Desirable
* Confident communication and interpersonal skills, able to work with a wide range of stakeholders
* Proactive and solutions‑focused mindset, passionate about improving industry standards
* Membership of a recognised professional body (e.g., RICS or similar)
* Experience working on sustainability‑focused or decarbonisation projects
