The Role As Technical Services Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of engineering operations, ensuring the smooth delivery of maintenance and building services across both locations. You will lead engineering teams and specialist contractors while maintaining high standards of service delivery and compliance. This role requires a hands-on technical understanding, combined with the ability to manage teams, engage with stakeholders, and drive operational performance. Key Responsibilities Manage the hard services delivery across two corporate office sites in Birmingham and Telford Lead and support on-site engineering teams and specialist contractors Ensure all planned and reactive maintenance is delivered effectively Maintain compliance with statutory regulations and health & safety requirements Build strong relationships with the client and key stakeholders Monitor service performance, budgets, and KPIs Drive improvements in building systems, efficiency, and service delivery Requirements Strong mechanical or electrical engineering background Experience working within corporate office or commercial building environments Proven experience managing technical or engineering teams Knowledge of building services, M&E systems, and facilities maintenance Client-facing experience with the ability to manage stakeholder relationships Strong organisational and leadership skills
