We are currently working in partnership with a homelessness charity based in Reading, who are recruiting for a Housing Manager on a permanent contract. The position is due to start on notice. The salary is between £42,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience for the role.
The ideal candidate will a Housing Association background as the charity is hoping to achieve a registered housing provider & need to understand legislation surrounding housing.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Managing the Tenancy, Lettings & Maintenance team leads and their progress
2. Responsible for the effective day-to-day delivery of all properties, maximising property performance and management of all assets
3. Delivering high-quality housing and repairs service for tenants and ensuring they are maintained in line with regulatory standards
4. Ensuring high level of tenant satisfaction
Experience required:
5. Substantial experience in leading property services provision in a complex, charitable, housing or commercial sector
6. Practical experience managing risk, contractual and regulatory performance
7. Managing projects, contracts, procurement and associated budgets
