We are looking for people with kind, compassionate hearts who want to make a true difference to the quality of life for our clients to join our team in Stourbridge, Hagley and Halesowen as a Live-In CAREGiver.
As a Live-In CAREGiver, you will live in a client's home and provide a variety of non-medical services to help your client remain happy, safe and independent in their own home.
The help and support could include:
1. Companionship
2. Meal preparation
3. Keeping their house safe and clean
4. Administering or prompting medication
5. Taking your client shopping or to appointments
6. Helping your client to get bathed and dressed in a morning
7. Helping your client get to bed at night

8. A salary of £120 per day (approximately £1,800 per month for 15 days work)

Qualifications
What We Look for in a Live-In CAREGiver
20. You must have at least 1 years recent professional experience working in Live-in care
21. Under a genuine occupational requirement we are inviting female applications only.
22. NVQ/QCF level 3 or above - or an equivalent qualification.
23. As well as the experience and qualification, it’s also about you as a person. We always use the ‘Mum’ test to ask ourselves "would I be happy if this person was caring for my mum”?
24. Successful candidates will join our team of Live-In CAREGivers and be assigned to individual clients when matched.
25. Driver's are preferred for this position due to the client’s needs
26. Dementia experience is beneficial although training can be provided

Additional Information
As a Live-In CAREGiver, you will be provided with either 3 meals a day or an allowance per day from the client, your own bedroom and access to a TV and WiFi. In addition, we offer comprehensive training and support.
What Hours Will you be Expected To Work
33. You will work on a set shift rota with at least one other Live-In CAREGiver (Eg. 1 week on 1 week off)
34. As a Live-In Caregiver you will need to stay at the Client’s home and provide care, as may be necessary or required by the Client.
35. You will work an agreed ‘daily average’ number of hours and provide sleeping nights
36. You will receive a 2 hour break per day which is your own free time
Are There Any Essential Requirements?
Whilst we don’t like to put barriers up before you have even applied, it is recommended that you have a full driving licence and use of a reliable car as you may be required to take your client shopping, or accompany them to appointments.
This role is subject to a satisfactory DBS enhanced disclosure, and satisfactory references.
