Asset Controller - Equans
Equans is recruiting for an Asset Controller based onsite in Andover, SP10 3LF. This is a permanent full-time role working 37.5 hours per week. The role offers a salary of £31,000 and an excellent benefits package.
Role Responsibilities
* Manage stock-related operations across the Andover and Sizewell ERC sites, ensuring compliance with contractual KPIs and standards of equipment maintenance.
* Develop and maintain robust stock control systems to optimize efficiency and safety.
* Oversee stock movements, ensuring accurate records of inbound and outbound transactions.
* Maintain equipment to high standards of compliance and operational readiness.
* Enhance stock control systems for improved accuracy and efficiency.
* Implement electronic and manual stock tracking systems.
* Manage asset addition, condition, and compliance records.
* Coordinate deliveries and paperwork distribution.
* Ensure safe movement of equipment and materials within depots.
* Be available for emergency deployments and stock duties as required.

Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in warehouse management and systems.
* Experience with audits using barcode and manual systems.
* Strong understanding of stock control methods and best practices.
* Logical thinker with problem-solving skills.
* Attention to detail and data accuracy.
* Effective communication skills at all levels.
* Ability to remain calm under pressure and during emergencies.
* Proficiency with IT, especially Excel and stock control databases.
* Health and Safety conscious, with experience in large plant environments preferred.
* Desirable: 16-tonne FLT license & HGV Class 2.
