The Role of the Multi Skilled Engineer
As a Multi Skilled Engineer, you will be responsible for performing both planned and reactive maintenance on a variety of systems, including electrical, water, fire alarms, building fabric, plumbing, and even minor decorating. Your duties will involve:
* Responding to maintenance requests during and outside of normal working hours as part of an on-call rota
* Monitoring and maintaining mechanical systems and plant rooms
* Inspecting and repairing fixtures, fittings, and furniture
* Supporting contractor management and stock control
* Ensuring safety and compliance with company policies
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate for this Multi Skilled Engineer role will possess:
* An NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in a relevant trade
* Extensive experience in a similar maintenance role
* Excellent communication, organisation, and IT skills
* The ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* A full UK driving licence and good physical fitness
