We are working with our client who are a successful onshore/offshore company based in Wallsend in their search for a Mechanic. Your role will be maintaining and repairing a range of plant and machinery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Diagnose, service, and repair plant and machinery
* Carry out routine maintenance and inspections
* Identify faults and complete repairs efficient
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard
* Keep accurate records of work completed
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a mechanic working with plant and machinery
* Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills
* Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and diesel systems (desirable)
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Relevant qualifications or certifications (preferred)
