The Project We are launching a Digital Internship Project to modernise how they track skills and incentivise cross-training within the production team. Currently, staff specialise in specific machines, which creates bottlenecks when key team members are absent. What You'll Do As a Digital Intern, you will gain end-to-end product development experience, including: Collecting and analysing productivity data to identify bottlenecks and cross-skilling opportunities. Designing and prototyping a user-friendly reward-tracking system. Piloting the system with selected machines and staff, troubleshooting issues, and refining functionality. Creating clear documentation and delivering training sessions to ensure adoption and scalability. Collaborating with management and HR to align incentives with company policies. This role offers practical exposure to data analysis, digital system development, UX design, and project management, all within a real-world manufacturing environment. Person Specification We welcome applications from students and graduates studying: IT, Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering management or Mathematics. We will also consider applicants from other disciplines, particularly those with a strong emphasis on analytical problem-solving, and data-driven technologies. Skills & Competencies: Technical: Data analysis, digital system development (low-code/no-code or basic programming), database management, UX awareness.
