About the Practice
Bupa Dental Care Moreton is a fast‑paced, patient‑focused practice with a strong team culture. You’ll be supported by experienced clinicians and a Practice Manager who is passionate about developing apprentices and helping them succeed.
Working Hours
* Full time – 40 hours per week
* Monday to Friday
* 8:45am – 5:45pm
The Role
* Support clinicians during a wide range of dental procedures
* Prepare and maintain surgery environments to a high standard
* Deliver excellent patient care and reassurance
* Follow infection control, health and safety and compliance procedures
* Work effectively in a fast‑paced surgery environment
About You
* Passionate about dentistry and patient care
* Agile, proactive and motivated, able to work without prompting
* Thrives in a busy, fast‑paced environment
* Strong communication skills and a professional attitude
* Committed to learning and developing within the role
* No previous dental experience is required – just the right attitude and willingness to learn
Learning and Development
Apprenticeship will support you on the journey to becoming a GDC registered qualified dental nurse. You will gain a Level 3 qualification over an 18‑24 month training programme. Prior to the end‑point assessment, level 2 English and Maths (equivalent to GCSEs at grades A* to C) must be achieved if not already held.
Training covers:
* Oral anatomy and physiology, respiratory and circulatory systems
* Infection transmission and prevention
* Dental materials, equipment, and resources
* Medical emergencies
* Legislative compliance and regulatory requirements
* Clinical skills
* Health promotion
* Patient care and management
