Job Description As Junior Buyer you will be part of the Supply Chain team supporting the procurement of electronic components, mechanical, and related materials. Typical activities include: Support sourcing and pricing of electrical and mechanical items to provide best price, to the right specification and time scales. Build good relationships with suppliers to negotiate costs, terms, and delivery schedules. Support component availability risks and management plans. Interacting with engineering departments for alternative components identification. Provides inputs into procurement decisions including make/buy, source selection and supplier qualification. Raising of requisitions. Raising Purchase Orders and maintaining accurate records Manage exceptions and expedite PO deliveries.
