About the role

We are seeking a Customer Services Technician to join our Customer Services team in the Teesside region.
The ideal candidate will have a clean driving license, be a time-served tradesperson, and demonstrate being a team player. They should have a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, a desire and drive to succeed, and demonstrate empathy and understanding when dealing with customers. They must be smart, punctual, honest, and reliable.
The main responsibilities include:
* Carrying out defect repairs in occupied properties
* Liaising with nominated contractors and suppliers regarding remedial works in occupied homes
* Collaborating with the Line Manager to promote effective solutions to complex remedial activities
* Building positive relationships with colleagues, especially site teams
* Communicating with the Customer Service Hub about remedial activities
* Completing tasks within charter timescales
* Maintaining professionalism, courtesy, dignity, and control when interacting with customers, colleagues, external partners, and subcontractors, upholding the company's core values
Additionally, you should have a good understanding of NHBC Technical Standards & Guidelines, sound decision-making skills, and the ability to use your initiative to solve problems.
