Job Description

Ready to turn messy, high-velocity, high-volume data into a clean, business‑ready foundation that powers decisions for one of the world’s most iconic brands? As an Analytics Engineer at The LEGO Group, you will build the data backbone of the A&I organisation, crafting a dynamic AI‑enabled data foundation that the entire company can rely on.

Hybrid working arrangement: Best of Both – 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.

No relocation or visa assistance is offered for this position.

Closing date: Monday 13th April 2026.

Core Responsibilities

* Build and maintain data pipelines on Databricks, transforming complex, high‑volume, messy data into clean, reliable, business‑ready data.
* Develop and optimise the semantic layer – build metric view pipelines, materialisation and performance optimisation for analysts, data scientists and commercial teams.
* Ensure data quality and engineering best practice – implement CI/CD pipelines, assertion checks, data quality frameworks, cost/performance optimisation and thorough testing before production rollout.
* Drive platform governance and data accessibility – own Unity Catalog governance, schemas, access controls and metadata tagging to keep data discoverable and compliant.
* Enable AI‑ready data products – build the data foundation for AI models and tools, collaborating with data scientists, analysts and digital product teams to provide structured, fit‑for‑downstream AI data.

Do You Have What It Takes

* Advanced SQL – comfortable working with large, complex, structured and unstructured datasets.
* Data pipeline and transformation expertise with Databricks and experience building, testing and maintaining robust pipelines at scale.
* CI/CD and engineering best practice – confident with Git, CI/CD workflows and thorough testing.
* Ability to navigate complexity and influence without authority – translate technical trade‑offs to non‑technical audiences, including senior leadership.
* AI & platform curiosity – understand building data products for AI consumption and curiosity about leveraging AI.
* Fluency in English, written and verbal.

Benefits

* Family Care Leave – enhanced paid leave options.
* Insurances – life and disability insurance.
* Wellbeing – resources and benefits to support physical and mental wellbeing and community building.
* Colleague Discount – generous discounts from day 1.
* Bonus scheme – reward when goals are reached and eligibility criteria met.
* Workplace flexibility – hybrid policy with average 3 days in office per week.
