About the Role
As a Senior Traffic Signals Design Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in leading traffic signal design projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. Your expertise will guide our clients through the entire process, from concept to delivery and maintenance.
Location: Nationwide - Hybrid working with travel to sites required
Contract: Permanent Full-time
Salary: £45,000 - £52,500 + £5.9k annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits
Your Responsibilities
In this dynamic role, you will:
* Prepare and check feasibility studies, appraisal/assessment reports, and other essential documents.
* Develop innovative engineering solutions and present various options to clients.
* Create designs that meet client requirements and adhere to relevant design standards for cost-effective solutions.
* Produce and review design concepts, details, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a candidate who is:
* Educated to HNC/HND/Degree level in a technical/engineering discipline, or possesses significant specialist experience in lieu of formal qualifications.
* Experienced in traffic signal design with a strong post-qualification background.
* Proficient in MS Office and familiar with engineering software packages such as AutoCAD, KeySignals, and Linsig.
* Knowledgeable about health and safety, CDM, quality management, and environmental management systems.
