Salary: Dependent on experience
Location: Brunswick House, Gloucester Business Park
Hours: Monday – Friday 9am-5pm (35 hours per week)
Role Overview
Due to our continued growth and expansion, we are looking to recruit an experienced Property Lawyer/Solicitor to join our dynamic team. We seek truly passionate, self‑motivated individuals who can build upon and directly input to the continued success of our business. Strong client relationship skills are essential: meet the needs and expectations of our clients and ever‑growing introducer base, who expect a high level of professional service at all times.
The successful candidate will report to the Directors, managing a varied caseload of residential conveyancing work whilst supervising and developing junior members of staff.
Responsibilities
* Manage residential conveyancing caseload across sale, purchase, remortgage, leasehold, lease extension work, transfers of equity and new build matters.
* Supervise, coach and mentor junior team members.
* Build and nurture strong relationships with estate agents and brokers.
* Deliver a high level of professional service at all times.
Experience and Qualifications
* Minimum 3 years’ experience running a complex caseload of residential conveyancing matters.
* Strong knowledge and technical experience of residential conveyancing across the full range of sale, purchase and remortgage matters; leasehold and lease extension work; transfers of equity; new build; SDLT requirements, including relevant reliefs and exemptions; dealing with unregistered properties; impact of restrictions and cautions lodged against a property and how these might be removed.
* Strong team management skills with the ability to develop, coach and mentor junior team members.
* Proven track record of winning new business and developing strong relationships with estate agents & brokers.
