We’re working with a leading pump solutions provider to find a skilled Senior Electrical Service Engineer. This is a hands-on role covering both depot-based and field service work, with a strong focus on electrical fault finding, PLC programming, and pump maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults on pump systems and ancillary equipment
• Program PLC controls and carry out final electrical connections on site
• Perform routine servicing and maintenance of electrical and diesel pump units
• Work both in the workshop and on external customer sites
• Complete all relevant paperwork, timesheets, and reports accurately
• Support apprentices and junior engineers with on-the-job training
• Participate in an on-call rota for emergency breakdowns (compensated)
• Ensure compliance with health and safety and QHSE standards
Requirements
• Recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a service engineering role
• 18th Edition qualification
• Full UK driving licence
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• CSCS card preferred but not essential
