This post is providing consultant clinical leadership and patient care in our community eating disorder service based at Meridian Way, Norwich NR TA
Alongside a team consisting of one fellow consultant psychiatrist, a consultant psychologist and a multidisciplinary team of psychologists, mental health nurses, family therapist, OT, a dietitian and health care assistants, you will provide assessment and treatment for all patients in your area. Consultants are expected to form close working relationships with the ED Service in Cambridge, key contacts in primary care and offer consultation to liaison psychiatry and acute services. Supervision of junior staff and training of GPs is part of the role.
For those who have not yet completed a formal training in psychological therapy, training will be made available.

To observe local and national employment directives with regard to managed medical personnel land ensure adherence to appropriate NHS and Trust policies.
