About the Role:
We are looking for a dedicated teacher to take on full classroom responsibilities from January through July 2026. You will be teaching a Key Stage 1 class, planning and delivering engaging lessons, managing behaviour effectively, and creating an inclusive learning environment. The school prides itself on its nurturing ethos and collaborative approach, making this an ideal role for someone who values community and pupil wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching: Deliver creative and inspiring lessons aligned with the KS1 curriculum.
Assessment: Track and support pupil progress, adapting teaching to meet individual needs.
Classroom Management: Foster a positive, respectful classroom culture.
Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues and parents to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.
Professional Development: Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Have experience teaching in Key Stage 1.
Be proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering high-quality education.
Be passionate about creating a supportive and inclusive classroom.
Hold a valid DBS or be willing to obtain one.
