Job overview
The post-holder will be an experienced certificated technician undertaking managerial, technical, and operational duties within the Pharmacy Department. Responsibilities include:
1. Managing pharmacy medicine procurement for the Trust
2. Managing the pharmacy CMM stock control system for Hillingdon
3. Providing financial data management to support Medicines Management initiatives
4. Ensuring the pharmacy store functions effectively within MHRA standards
Some duties will be discharged directly, such as systems management, or indirectly via line-managed staff.

Person specification
* Registration with GPhC as a pharmacy technician
* Knowledge of pharmaceutical procedures at degree level or equivalent, e.g., NVQ Pharmacy services Level 3, BTEC in Pharmaceutical Science
* CIPS diploma or willingness to study
* Post-qualification NHS pharmacy experience, especially in procurement and stock control systems
* Experience in auditing
* Staff recruitment and selection experience
* Structured training in procurement, IT, and management/interpersonal skills
