Minimum 1+ years social worker experience required.
This position offers an opportunity to support middle school students by addressing personal and psychological challenges that impact their academic performance, behavior, and social development. The role involves working closely with students, teachers, administrators, and families to create a nurturing and supportive educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide individual and group counseling sessions to general education students facing personal or psychological issues.
* Develop treatment plans, workshops, prevention programs, and intervention strategies tailored to student needs.
* Collaborate with educators to address behavioral and attitude challenges, identifying underlying causes to better support students.
* municate effectively with students to assess their needs and provide guidance.
* Facilitate connections to external support services for students experiencing economic, emotional, or physical difficulties.
* Maintain accurate case files and progress reports to monitor student development.
* Assist students and families affected by abuse, violence, hunger, or homelessness by connecting them to appropriate munity resources.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelors or Masters degree in Social Work.
* Valid 310 Social Worker Endorsement.
* Experience in school-based social work preferred.
