Salary: £100 – £130 per day (depending on experience)

Are you confident leading a classroom and supporting pupils’ learning in a primary school setting?
GSL Education are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Primary School Cover Supervisors to work in schools across Derby.
As a Primary School Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during the absence of the regular teacher, ensuring pupils remain engaged in their learning and classroom activities continue smoothly.
Primary School Cover Supervisor Responsibilities:
* Supervise classes during teacher absences and ensure lessons run smoothly
* Deliver pre-prepared lesson materials provided by the teacher
* Maintain a positive and focused classroom environment
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
* Support pupils in completing their assigned work and learning activities
* Provide guidance and assistance where needed during lessons
* Report pupil progress, behaviour, and any concerns to the relevant staff
* Help ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment for all pupils
Primary School Cover Supervisor Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people is desirable
* Confidence in managing a classroom environment
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* The ability to follow lesson plans and support pupils effectively
* A proactive and flexible approach to working in schools
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
