Field Based - Crawley
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be a self‑driven, personable professional who prioritises delivering exceptional service to customers and colleagues. Based across Ireland, specifically in Cork, you will install and maintain all equipment within customer premises, perform complex and challenging installations, service and breakdown calls for coffee machines, water coolers, juice machines and boiler systems, and train customers on machine use.
Field Service Engineer
Responsibilities include:
* Deliver exceptional customer service through the installation, repair and maintenance of equipment, keeping customers informed at all times and maintaining the highest quality and integrity.
* Carry out a wide range of equipment repairs and preventative maintenance tasks, from fault‑finding to diagnosis, ensuring all equipment is left in good working order and customers briefed on any issues.
* Maintain tools, equipment and company‑supplied vehicles, reporting any faults or breakages to your line manager daily or as required.
* Complete all required online job sheets, time sheets and supporting documentation, reviewing and finalising them before leaving the premises to confirm client satisfaction, and upload them to the Ops Office team promptly.
* Manage spare parts inventory via the Eagle App, ensuring parts are invoiced to customers, deducted from stock and replenished to keep vehicle stock inventory up to date.
* Adhere to Health and Safety procedures, reporting any risks to company management.
Qualifications
* Technical skills in Bean to Cup, Billi systems, electronics, POU coolers, plumbing, vending machines, filtration, barista/coffee quality, installation and project management.
* Proactive problem‑solving approach.
* Excellent customer service skills with active listening and the ability to understand and deliver on customer needs.
* Strong communication skills, able to interact effectively with customers, colleagues and management.
* Solid understanding of road networks and locations.
* Full, clean driving licence.
