Facilities Accommodation Team Leader
The role of Facilities Accommodation Team Leader plays a key part in accommodation services. The successful candidate will supervise accommodation service assistants, support cleaning tasks during periods of low staffing or increased demand, and manage the receipt and delivery of cleaning materials. Candidates must be physically fit.
Core Working Hours
Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Hours are typically 08:00‑16:00, Monday‑Friday, and may include bank holidays. The role may also require covering for other Facilities Team Leaders as needed. Enhancements for night, bank holiday, and weekend work are offered.
Responsibilities
* Supervise accommodation service assistants.
* Support cleaning tasks during low staffing or increased demand.
* Receive and deliver cleaning materials to facilities.
* Cover for other Facilities Team Leaders as required.
* Respond to night, bank holiday, and weekend work, when applicable.
Qualifications
* Experience working in a busy NHS setting or in a cleaning/hospitality role.
* Previous experience in team leading or supervising staff.
* Experience with computer systems, including Microsoft Office and web‑based platforms.
* Ability to work with a diverse range of staff.
* Understanding of sickness absence management.
* Good understanding of customer care.
* Effective communication skills.
* Ability to undertake duties without supervision.
