Your new role
As Site Agent, you’ll take ownership of site operations and lead a skilled team to deliver excellence. Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing site engineers and section engineers.
2. Preparing and reviewing work packages and management plans.
3. Overseeing subcontractors and supplier relationships.
4. Ensuringpliance with H&S and CDM regulations.
5. Monitoring contractual requirements and maintaining accurate records.
6. Leading site meetings, daily briefings, and maintaining site diaries.
7. Delivering works to specification and supporting project close-out.
This is a hands-on leadership role where your decisions will shape the success of a major infrastructure project.
What you'll need to succeed
8. Proven experience as a Site Agent or similar role within highways or civil engineering.
9. Strong knowledge of H&S/CDM legislation and NEC contracts.
10. Ability to manage a site or section of a larger project effectively.
11. SMSTS certification and First Aid at Work.
12. Full UK driving licence.
Your ability to lead teams, maintain standards, and drive performance will be key.
