Advert Senior Clerical Assistant (Permanent) (18/45) Dumfries £24,327 - £24,738 Within the Billing, Ordering and Payments Team of Finance and Procurement, we are currently seeking to recruit a Senior Clerical Assistant. Based in Dumfries (Home Working possible), you will play a key role in administering our MOSAIC system for paying and collecting invoices on behalf of Social Work clients. You will work 36 hours per week. The main responsibilities and activities of the post are set out within the attached job description. These also include punching and reconciling invoices on the system and liaising with Service Departments and Suppliers/Customers to ensure invoices are paid accurately and on time and that monies owed to the Council are collected efficiently. The successful candidate will be self-motivated and adaptable with good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills. You should be a good team player able to work to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy. Candidates should be educated to Standard Grade in English and/or Maths or SVQ Level 2 or equivalent. You should have previous experience of working with the public and working in an office environment and be competent in the use of Microsoft Office systems.
