I’m on the lookout for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join agrowing client of mine based in Worcester.
The ideal planner will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing transportation activities to ensure the cost efficient and timely movement of vehicles across the UK.
They are a family run business, that kicked off in 2016. And are now looking to take on board a new team member due to such rapid growth and expansion!
For this role, you’ll need more than just a hands on approach! As this is a starting point for a great career progression path.
With plans to treble in size over 2024…I’m looking for someone with experience in developing efficient transport routes, who is able to optimize and reduce overall costs. As well as enhancing vehicle delivery speed.
You’ll be expected to monitor and analyse capacity to ensure it meets current and future business demand. Anticipating peak periods and implementing strategies to overcome any restraints faced.
Unlike other companies, my client are beholden to investors and shareholders. With a sole focus on building an incredible reputation that allows them to deliver a unique service at a fair price…Moving any vehicles, from classic cars to supercars!
As the team planner, you’ll be on hand to ensure that the company is operating within legal regulations and that drivers have everything they need to do their jobs to the highest of standards. You’ll need great communication skills. As you will be in regular contact with internal staff, from the office to the drivers, all the way through to the clients eagerly awaiting their deliveries. Previous knowledge of CRM systems is also advantageous.
You can expect to work Monday to Friday 9am am to 5pm and this role has potential for a hybrid structure later down the line.
For salary, you can expect between £28,000 and £35,000 depending on your experience. As well as great company benefits.
