We are seeking to appoint a skilled and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to work within our Early Years Foundation Setting. This is an exciting opportunity to support the very beginning of our children’s learning journey in a vibrant, well-resourced and nurturing environment. The successful candidate will: Have a Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Supporting Teaching and Learning (or equivalent) Have experience working with children aged 3-4 years, with a strong understanding of early child development Be confident in supporting children’s language development, early reading and number sense Be skilled in promoting positive relationships, emotional regulation and independent learning Be proactive in supporting routines, continuous provision, and learning through play Understand the EYFS framework, including the prime and specific areas of learning Be able to contribute to observations, assessments and planning, working closely with teachers and families Be committed to inclusive practice, able to support children with a range of developmental needs In return, Park Primary School offers: A nurturing, child-centred environment with a strong focus on early childhood education Weekly meetings and training for all TAs, with additional CPD tailored to EYFS needs Opportunities for professional development and career progression A dedicated, experienced EYFS team who work collaboratively to support every child A school culture that values TAs as professionals and vital members of our community The working hours during term time are typically 8:35-15:40 Monday to Friday with a 16:30 finish once a week for after school club/activities and a further 17:00 finish for staff meeting/development. A personalised timetable will be issued annually. You will also work the five inset days across the year for targeted CPD activities.
