About the role…
As Group Financial Reporting Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high?quality statutory and management reporting while supporting the ongoing development of robust financial controls across the Group. Working closely with senior finance stakeholders, you will contribute to accurate reporting, compliance, and insight to support effective decision?making.

As a Group Financial Reporting Accountant you will…
Prepare accurate annual statutory accounts for the Group and its subsidiaries, including supporting notes and working papers
Manage the annual external audit process, ensuring compliance and effective liaison with auditors
Support tax compliance across the Group, including VAT, CIS, Corporation Tax, PAYE, PSA and P11D submissions
Partner with the Group Finance Manager to strengthen and standardise financial controls, processes and reporting across the Group
Assist with monthly Group financial reporting, including P&L, balance sheet reconciliations, consolidations, forecasting and treasury activities
Support HMRC and Companies House filings and contribute to ad?hoc projects and initiatives as required
About you…
You will be a qualified ACA or ACCA accountant, ideally trained within a practice environment, with strong experience preparing statutory accounts for a Group of companies and knowledge of corporation tax. You bring solid audit experience and a strong technical accounting skillset, with a deep understanding of accounting standards and robust financial controls.
You are a confident communicator with a positive, proactive mindset, able to take a structured and methodical approach to problem?solving. Comfortable working in a fast?paced, dynamic environment, you can manage competing priorities and meet deadlines while maintaining high standards of accuracy. A collaborative team player with a strong work ethic, you are highly proficient in Microsoft Office and IT systems, particularly Excel, and bring a genuine interest in business and finance.
