About the role
This is a technical compliance-based role, reporting into the Governance &
Integrity Assurance Lead. You’ll be part of the Health, Safety, Environment and
Governance Team (HSEG), but work closely with the Control and Instrumentation
Team, and Group Cyber Security, and cross-functionally.
You’ll provide governance, assurance, and compliance activities in support of
Drax Power Station achieving the Network Information Systems regulations (NIS),
enhanced profile. This role will also require ensuring impartial accountability
of other teams and departments to support Drax Power Station in achieving goals
and objectives.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Promoting One Safe Drax including involvement in investigating incidents of
non-compliance within NIS and cyber security
- Effectively liaising with regulators, Drax teams, consultants and contractors
to deliver agreed targets and ensure compliance and accountability
- Responsibility for the development and delivery of the internal audit plan in
relation to NIS compliance
- Responsibility for the management and co-ordinated update of management
system documents in relation to NIS.
- Facilitation of external audits and analysis of the management systems
Who we’re looking for
Ideally, you’ll have a background in IT, cyber security, and/ or control
systems. A working knowledge of NIS regulations is beneficial. You’ll be able demonstrate a keen interest in developing your
knowledge in this area.
You’ll need to have a structured, methodical and accurate approach with the
ability to audit to a specified standard. Ideally, you’ll also be familiar with
the development and maintenance of management systems.
This role requires strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with
the ability to influence beyond your sphere of control.
