About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and supportive Classroom Assistant to join a welcoming and well-resourced primary SEN campus in Poole.

This is a full time, immediate start vacancy, working with primary-aged pupils (5 to 12 years old) with Mild Learning Difficulties (MLD) and Autism (ASD).
Working hours are 8.45am to 3.30pm.

What You Will Be Doing
* Supporting pupils with ASD and MLD to access classroom activities
* Providing one to one and small group support
* Helping pupils with communication, emotional regulation, and social skills
* Assisting with sensory learning and play-based activities
* Working alongside teachers and other support staff as part of a friendly team

What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you must have:
* A minimum of 6 months childcare experience, ideally supporting children with SEN needs
* Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships
* Willingness to learn and work collaboratively
* A genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential
Experience from nurseries, schools, youth work, residential care, or similar environments is welcomed.
