Job Overview
The Practice Educator Nurse will support Band 7 Ward Managers and Advanced Nurse Practitioners to implement an education and staff development plan for the Acute Medical Units across three sites of ABUHB. The post holder will ensure service delivery is of a high professional standard in line with local organisational and national guidelines, and will provide specialist support, coaching and staff development.
Responsibilities
 * Work alongside the Band 7 Practice Development Nurse to formulate bespoke plans for meeting clinical educational needs of individuals or groups.
 * Provide clinical education within Acute Medical Units and support newly‑qualified staff.
 * Collaborate with Band 7 Ward Managers and Advanced Nurse Practitioners to design and deliver teaching sessions to all staff.
 * Maintain an effective learning environment through teaching, assessing, coaching and staff development.
 * Adhere to the NMC Code of Professional Conduct (2018).
Qualifications and Knowledge
 * Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council.
 * Experience in an Acute Medical or similar clinical setting.
 * Strong educational or teaching experience.
 * Excellent communication and organisational skills.
