Responsibilities
* Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
* Offering companionship and emotional support.
* Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping.
* Providing mobility support and medication reminders.
* Adapting to work in a variety of environments (including clients’ homes and facilities) and assisting with complex care, including transfers, incontinence care, and medical equipment support.
Qualifications
* Availability: Available at least 3-4 days per week, including weekends, and respond promptly to on-call requests.
* Experience: Minimum 2-3 years in a caregiver role, including personal care experience.
* Flexibility: Comfortable working in different environments, whether in a client’s home or facility.
* Reliability: Dependable transportation and a commitment to providing excellent care.
* Compassion: Passion for helping others with a positive, empathetic attitude.
* Additional Requirements: Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license; clean driving record; ability to commit to being on-call for emergency deployment within Western Wayne and Downriver counties, including working in homes with pets, smoke, and other environmental factors.
