Key Responsibilities
1. Be the primary customer contact.
2. Manage a portfolio of related projects, achieving customer requirements and business goals regarding schedule, budget, delivery, risk management, and business development.
3. Monitor project performance and conduct reviews to identify corrective actions.
4. Prioritize and allocate resources effectively.
5. Prepare accurate cost and schedule reports for bids and updates.
6. Provide leadership and effective communication with all stakeholders to ensure project success.
7. Motivate and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative environment.
8. Perform additional duties as assigned by the Programmes Director or Manager.
9. Experience in new product development is desirable.
Qualifications / Skills Required
1. Degree in Business or Engineering.
2. APM qualification or equivalent.
3. Strong leadership, delegation, and teamwork skills.
4. Excellent communication and influencing skills.
5. High commercial awareness and customer focus.
6. Resilience and sound judgment under pressure.
7. Proficiency with project management tools and ERP systems like IFS.
Desirable
1. Experience in Defence, Aerospace, or safety-regulated environments.
2. Experience in Naval or Maritime domains.
3. Experience managing multidisciplinary projects focusing on systems engineering, integration, or manufacturing.
