This Adult MSK Team has a vacancy for a dynamic, passionate advanced physiotherapist to join our existing band 8 team in the MSK Assessment Service. We are looking for an APP with a wide range of experience in the management and treatment of MSK conditions.
While undertaking comprehensive assessment and diagnosis of patients with diverse physical and emotional needs, you will triage, assess and manage patients, including ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests. Key communication skills will be required for presenting cases in the well‑established MDT meetings.
Your application should demonstrate evidence of advanced skills, including assessment, investigations, onward referrals and MSK injections.
SCAS has close ties with the MSK physiotherapy Service, and you will be instrumental in providing teaching, supervision and support to our large physiotherapy staff. There are also close links with the Enfield Pain Service.
Developing and promoting a positive and dynamic image and culture, you will foster productive relationships with key stakeholders such as local GPs and provide support and training to other clinical staff and students.
In return we can provide support for CPD and opportunities for broad personal development.
