Support Assistant Role in Primary Schools

Protocol Education is hiring energetic support assistants to work in Primary Schools in Cheam. Salary ranges from £80 to £95 per day, depending on experience.

Role Responsibilities:
* Providing one-on-one support: Tailor your approach to meet individual students' needs, helping them understand concepts and develop essential skills.
* Collaborating with educators and therapists: Work as part of a team to develop personalized learning plans and achieve the best outcomes for each child.
* Encouraging communication and social skills: Facilitate interactions, foster confidence, and help build friendships among students.
* Celebrating progress: Witness and share in the growth and achievements of your students.
Candidate Requirements:
* A calm and compassionate demeanor
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Passion for working with children and making a positive impact
* Experience supporting children is required; experience in schools, with children with SEN, as a graduate, youth mentor, sports coach, or similar roles is preferred.

Pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, with potential for permanent roles later. Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding children and conducts necessary checks, including safeguarding and online searches, in accordance with DfE guidance. We offer free online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training. All candidates must undertake or hold a valid enhanced DBS check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
