Stuart Power, a privately owned company, are specialised providers of temporary power solutions. We act as an authorised dealer for FG Wilson branded products manufactured by Caterpillar and have been trading for over 40 years.
We are looking to recruit a Transport Manager/Compliance Manager who will work closely with the existing Transport Manager based at our Head Office in Shropham. The role will strongly focus on vehicle and driver compliance across our 4 depots.
You will need to be experienced within the transport sector and have prior knowledge of regulations and Driving Laws. National CPC license an advantage.
Duties will typically include:
* Check Maintenance Records
* Checking lorry movements via a tracking system
* Liaising with drivers
* Downloading Tachograph information
* Driver Infringements
* Driving licence & eyesight checks
* Record keeping
* Assisting with audit preparation such as FORS
* Helping to ensure that we comply with O licence regulations at all times.
* Record Ad Blue usage across fleet
Knowledge / skills required:
* Previous experience in a similar role
* Familiar with O Licence compliance/regulations
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages and the ability to learn new systems.
* Previous knowledge of driving law/tachograph.
* General administration skills
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
* Attention to detail.
* Ability to work under pressure
* Comfortable working on own initiative
* Ability to organise and prioritise work
Working Hours
* Permanent / Full Time
* Monday to Friday
* Hours working 08.00 – 17.30

* Negotiable and subject to experience
