WHAT WE OFFER
* The start date of employment will be: May-June 2025
* The starting salary for this role is £26,400 per annum pro rata, based on competence and experience.
* 30 hours working 5 days per week including evenings and alternate weekends. Full-time hours during a 4-week training period.
* 39 hours working 5 days per week including evenings and alternate weekends.
This role involves a 4-week training period requiring travel to the IKEA store in Edinburgh for 3 days each week. Travel costs will be covered by IKEA.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
* An interest in people’s lives at home and providing personalized solutions that meet their needs.
* Experience working in a customer-oriented business, with sales targets and customer conversion focus.
* A proactive approach to improving customer experience and sales, problem-solving, and effective communication.
* Willingness to learn and work with various computer programs including Microsoft Office and Planning Tools.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING ON THE DAY-TO-DAY
* Planning & designing kitchens & wardrobes for customers, including initial and follow-up appointments, providing accurate plans, and installation quotations.
* Engaging with customers to identify needs, inspire, and advise on solutions for their homes.
* Supporting sales efforts by maintaining a clean, well-presented, and easy-to-shop area.
* Responding to customer emails, securing payments both in-store and remotely.
* Communicating via email, text, and calls from pre-appointment to purchase, ensuring a smooth customer journey.
* Supporting overall customer shopping experience, including replenishing products, picking and handing out orders, and addressing inquiries.
