Join Our Reablement Team as a Care and Support Worker
Are you compassionate, reliable, and committed to making a difference? We are seeking Care and Support Workers to join our Reablement Service, supporting individuals to regain independence and confidence in their own homes.
About the Role
1. Contract: 26.25 hours per week
2. Service: Operates 7 days a week, year-round
3. Location: Community-based care in service users homes
4. Purpose: Support recovery following illness, injury, or hospital discharge
Working Pattern
5. 4-week rolling rota
6. Morning shifts: 7:00am - 3:00pm
7. Evening shifts: 2:30pm - 10:30pm
8. Includes weekends and bank holidays
9. A full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential
About the Service
Our short-term, person-centred service supports individuals with disabilities or those recovering from illness. We focus on:
10. Promoting independence
11. Relearning daily living skills
12. Providing dignified, respectful care
13. Working collaboratively with health and social care professionals
Additional support includes:
14. Bridging care while long-term arrangements are made
15. Resettlement support following time away from home
16. Emergency response during urgent situations
Training and Qualifications
Essential:
17. GCSE Grades D-G or Functional Skills Level 1 in Maths and English
Desirable:
18. Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)
Pay and Benefits
19. Salary: £25, - £25, (FTE)
