Job Description:
IBB Polonia London Volleyball Club seeks an ambitious, dynamic Sports Coach ready to lead a significant transformation in our volleyball programme. This position offers a unique opportunity for an individual passionate about elevating volleyball's profile not just in England and the UK but globally. Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic vision for the club's volleyball programme.
* Lead as Head Coach for the Senior Volleyball Team, including training, strategy, and game-day management.
* Coordinate and enhance the volleyball programme, aligning it with long-term developmental and competitive goals.
* Build and oversee a detailed and impactful extracurricular volleyball schedule.
* Foster a culture of ambition, excellence, and continuous improvement throughout the club.
* Establish and nurture relationships with athletes, coaching staff, stakeholders, and the wider volleyball community.
Candidate Requirements:
* Relevant Level 3 Volleyball Coaching qualification or a strong commitment to obtain this qualification.
* Demonstrable experience in successfully leading and transforming competitive volleyball teams.
* Proven ability to create and implement strategic development plans, driving measurable improvements.
* Exceptional leadership qualities, with a capacity to inspire and motivate teams to achieve their highest potential.
* Strong organisational and strategic planning skills, capable of managing complex programmes effectively.
* A full, clean driving licence with regular access to a vehicle.
* Eligibility and willingness to acquire a D1 license and complete MIDAS training if required.
Visa and Work Permit: Candidates must already possess the legal right to live and work in the UK. IBB Polonia London Volleyball Club is unable to offer sponsorship for visa applications.
