About the Role
As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the level of clinical care we offer goes beyond professional and statutory requirements. This includes providing specialist nursing support, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, and supervising and coaching colleagues.
About You
HC-One is looking for a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC Pin, knowledge of National Standards and the NMC code of practice. You will have a background in person‑centred care planning and bring positive energy and natural ability to get along with people. You will manage time effectively, keep meaningful records, and communicate with residents and colleagues in a considerate and kind manner.
Safeguarding
All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and to undertake additional training in associated areas. You should be able to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if concerns arise, including escalation if action is not taken.
