Job Description

3. Manage group financial reporting and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
4. Lead the preparation of consolidated financial statements and management accounts.
5. Collaborate with departments to provide financial insights that support strategic goals.
6. Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes.
7. Ensure efficient cash flow management and optimise working capital.
8. Support audit processes and liaise with external auditors as required.
9. Identify opportunities to improve financial systems and processes.
10. Mentor and develop the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Group Finance Manager should have:

11. A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
12. Proven experience in financial reporting and analysis within a large organisation.
13. Strong knowledge of accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
14. Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
15. Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills.
16. Demonstrated ability to manage and lead a team effectively.
17. A proactive approach to identifying and solving financial challenges.
