Maintenance Surveyor - Midlands Rural Housing – 9 Month Fixed Term
Location – Home Based, with travelling required across the Midlands
Hours – 38 hours per week
Salary - £39,237 - £43,597 (RFJ 8)
The role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Surveyor to join our busy maintenance team on a 9-month fixed term contract at Midlands Rural Housing.
You will be responsible for the co-ordination, financial, technical, onsite delivery and reporting for a range of programmes of work and you will be assisted in this role by the wider Maintenance Team.
You will report to the Senior Maintenance Surveyor.
The ideal candidate
We are looking for an individual who has experience of working in the construction industry or that has worked in a similar building/technical environment. Customer service skills and ability to communicate well with clients is essential as you will be handling customer queries / contractor meetings and queries both in person and or over the phone. Co-operation, teamwork, organisation and planning are core skills we are looking for in applicants. Having knowledge of relevant legislation affecting construction/building maintenance, including Health & Safety is pivotal to this role.

Qualifications
Having a Construction related HNC or Degree qualification is desirable for this role.
