Tax Accountant – London – Financial Services - £80,000 - £100,000 depending on experience – Hybrid 4 days in office
A leading international financial services business is seeking a Tax Accountant to join its EMEA finance team in London. This is a broad in‑house tax role offering exposure to complex international tax matters across multiple entities within a fast‑paced global environment.
Key Responsibilities in this role include:
* Manage UK corporation tax compliance, filings, and related reporting obligations
* Support quarterly and annual tax reporting under US GAAP across EMEA entities
* Oversee international tax matters including transfer pricing and intercompany transactions
* Prepare tax provisions, reconciliations, and journal entries while supporting audits and tax authority queries
* Partner with internal stakeholders and external advisers on tax planning, regulatory, and business initiatives
* Monitor legislative developments and contribute to process improvements across the tax function
Requirements
* ACA, ACCA, CTA, CPA, or equivalent professional qualification
* Experience in corporate tax gained in practice and in industry
* Strong understanding of UK corporation tax and tax accounting principles
* Exposure to multinational or international tax environments preferred
* Knowledge of US GAAP tax reporting advantageous
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
* Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast‑paced environment
