A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A GUEST SERVICE BREAKFAST MANAGER AT OUR HOTEL What you'll be doing Lead the F&B team with a positive vibe, helping create a welcoming and seamless service experience. Prepare and cook a variety of breakfast dishes such as hot/cold buffet items. Ensure food presentation is of high quality and meets hotel or restaurant standards. Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to maintain consistency Set up the kitchen for breakfast service, ensuring all ingredients and tools are ready. Maintain a clean and organized workstation. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory especially food order, ensuring we're set up for success every shift Support and guide the team, helping with training and encouraging everyone to deliver their best. Step in with confidence to handle guest requests and resolve issues, keeping the service upbeat and responsive. Follow all health and safety regulations, including food storage and handling procedures. Maintain kitchen cleanliness by following daily and weekly cleaning schedules. Ensure food is stored at correct temperatures and prevent cross-contamination Help with scheduling and shift planning, making sure the team is prepared and ready to go. Keep the dining and service areas sparkling clean and compliant, with an eye on health and safety. WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU A natural people person who's excited to take on a leadership role, with some experience in food and beverage. Strong communication skills, able to motivate and energise team members while keeping things running smoothly. Quick thinking and problem-solving skills to handle guest needs on the fly.
