Job Opportunity: 7.5 Tonne Driver
The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Haydock area. We are seeking experienced 7.5 tonne drivers to join our team.
Details:
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 5am starts until approximately 5pm
* Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour PAYE
* Location: Haydock, WA11
* Job Type: Ongoing
The role includes:
* Collecting and emptying Euro bins on wheels (ranging from 240 litres to 1100 litres)
* Operating a box tail-lift
* Completing collection paperwork with clients
* Securing bins during transit between collection points and the depot
* Maintaining high standards of service and professionalism in client interactions
* Reporting issues or concerns to the supervisor
Requirements:
* Full UK driving licence with C1 entitlement
* Valid and in-date CPC and tacho card
* At least 1 year of proven experience driving relevant vehicles
* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only)
* Strong work ethic and commitment to safety
* Availability for early morning shifts and occasional weekend work
* Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate well
